First Lesson
Had my first singing lesson today… Didn’t get off to a good start, as basically I have the beginnings of a cold and a bit of a sore throat. So – bad decision even to turn up and try singing!Anyway, after a talk on how to look after the voice, Matthew got me learning to do some warm-up exercises. he was also testing my music knowledge along the way I think. Signing Up
Went over to Matthew’s place at 360 today. Basically I’ve signed up for a year of artistic development, beginning with some singing coaching, which starts next week. He said that they are excited to be working with me, and that they were very impressed with the demos I’d played them so far.I handed over a full 13 of my home-spun tracks on a data stick to Matthew, and they will hopefully get chance to listen to them over the next week and let me know which they think are the strongest candidates to develop into the “top five” as part of the programme.I also […]
How the self-doubts creep in…

Visit to 360
Following a telephone conversation and several emails setting this up at the beginning of last week, I had a great meeting today with the guys from 360 Artist Development, based in Leeds. Matthew and Andrew seem great guys, easy to talk to, and had a lot to offer in terms of developing my songs as a ‘product’, as well as developing me as a recording artist.
