Performance Session 1
Held at Andrew’s house on Tuesday, we went through a few songs that I felt I could work on in order to play live and rebuild my stage confidence. I played a few verses of my songs tha I’d like to perform live, as well as a couple of covers, to get ‘established’ so to speak. We discussed my last disastrous gig, and then hopefully this can be put to bed, where I hope the old anxieties won’t resurface.Andrew is offering to accompany me for these open mic events, for as long as I need it. I must say this […]
Open Mic Night
This was held last night at Wakefield’s The Hop, a lovely little venue situated quite near to Westgate station and Wakefield’s Theatre and Opera House. Here I’ve got to meet quite a few of the Artists currently on the 360 Programme, or at least the more local ones, some at least coming from as far as Manchester and Nottingham. Here a great many of the pieces about 360AD have come into place, I feel. So it was then re-scheduled for Friday morning. I have to say that I’m used to having complete creative control, and “letting go” […]

Meanwhile I’ve been editing some of the tracks down and have successfully got most of them down to around 4 minutes, except Daytime, which even with severe chopping is still 4:35. I’m not sure I even like it as short as this, but it may grow on me…. We’ll […]
